Normally I don’t do personal blog posts on here, but today was so odd I felt the need to post it somewhere.
1:00pm - Go to SMG Starbucks to tutor. [This is normal.]
2:30pm - Board the T to get to Harvard Square (more details below)
3:05pm - Arrive at Harvard Square, attempt to use Maps app to find out how to get to Vanberg Hall for Psychology study I signed up for.
3:15pm - Apparently arrive at Vanberg Hall. Phone dies, so no hope of confirming I am at the right place / contacting people to find out where to go.
3:15pm - 3:55pm - Walk through Vanberg and around the area in an attempt to find the psychology study room. No success.
4:00pm - Give up hope on earning $40, walk back to Harvard Square.
4:10pm - Decide, what the hell, let’s watch Hunger Games!
4:10pm - 6:30pm - Watched Hunger Games.
So instead of earning $40, I spent $10 on THG. This is my life.
Hey do you think the mentors and prep teams in Panem made ‘For Your Consideration’ cards to hand out to potential sponsors considering that the Hunger Games “festivities” are probably the closest thing this messed up world has to award season
And I bet that just like with the stylists, there will always be at least one District who will get assigned to a terrible Capitol graphic designer
