George Takei vs. Twilight of the Day: With William Shatner and Carrie Fisher reigniting the eternal Star Trek vs. Star Wars debate, George Takei has taken to YouTube to broker a “star peace” by calling on fans of both franchises to aim their phasers and/or blasters at a new target: Twilight.

Takei says the sparkly vampire franchise is “really, really bad,” and lacks heroism and epic battle. He claims the only lesson to be learned from Twilightis “does my boyfriend like me?”

And when you’re as cool as George Takei, that’s not the kind of thing you have to worry about. Oh my!
